Applicants need to demonstrate where they believe they have met the appropriate criteria with guidance from Signalong if necessary and complete the application form. The application fee is payable at the time of applying and a date set for assessment.
Signalong will assess the application either in a Zoom / Teams interview or visit by a local Signalong Tutor where possible. Should the applicant not meet the applied level, they will be awarded a lower level if appropriate or the application fee will be refunded minus an administration fee (£50 for online assessment, £75 where a Tutor has carried out the assessment in person).
On completion of the application process, the organisation signs an agreement with Signalong to uphold the values of the charity and Signalong will issue a certificate, manual and activate Sign Library account.
